Job description: The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Managers/Team Leaders to take ownership of the set up of a brand new Warehouse for a prestigious company in Bedford
- Hours of work 08.30 – 17.30 Monday – Friday
- Pay £16.38 per hour
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager/Team Leader will include, but not limited to:
- Managing and leading a small team to organise stock and equipment in the Warehouse
- Prepare items for dispatch and delivery to Promotions and events
- Liaise with the Logistics team to ensure that delivery schedules are adhered to in line with customer SLAS
- Control the allocation and inventories of stock/equipment and ensure stocks are kept in good order at all times
- Complete administrative and financial tasks related to the control of stock in the Warehouse
- Lead and train staff in the Warehouse to deliver optimum performance of tasks
- Complete administrative tasks related to staff, payroll and stock and produce reports as required.
Requirements of the Team Leader
- Previous experience as a supervisor/team leader within a warehouse environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to lead the team to achieve targets inline with client KPIs and SLAs
- Adaptable and personable
- Experience in dealing with day to day HR queries directly with employees.
- Carry out staff briefings and performance reviews
- Demonstrate excellent standards of customer service and EHS.
