Employer Engagement and Events Officer at University of Brighton
Job Description
Join our Careers and Employability team and proactively work to create new and innovative opportunities for our students and graduates to connect with employers and external partners both within and outside the curriculum.
You will build relationships with employers that are of strategic significance to provide labour market insights, work experience, and graduate level jobs to our students. As part of the role, you will also shape, plan, and deliver a series of events and employer-led activities for students and graduates.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Develop, deliver, and administer all aspects of our employability events programme.
- Collaborate with staff across the university to understand the learning and employability needs of our students and ensure that the employability events programme is fit for purpose.
- Initiate, nurture, and manage relationships with employers, businesses and community representatives who have a strategic significance to the university in terms of student or graduate employability.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share, and the role is also eligible for agile working, meaning you could work from home for part of the week, to be arranged with your manager and after your initial training.
