Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Assurance Engineer to support our client, who are a multinational leading satilite manufacturer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by implementing and maintaining industry-standard assurance procedures and processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use their analytical skills to identify potential issues and propose corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues or defects in the product design, manufacturing processes, or materials
- Perform product inspections, quality control checks, and testing to ensure product reliability and functionality
- Investigate and analyse product failures or non-conformities and propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production managers, and suppliers, to address quality-related issues
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on product reliability, manufacturability, and maintainability
- Create and maintain product documentation, including quality assurance reports, inspection records, and test procedures
- Monitor and evaluate product performance through data analysis and feedback from customers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practises in product assurance
Requirements:
- HND or equivalent with background in Mechanical, Thermal, Systems, RF, Manufacturing or composites.
- Experience in Aerospace or Aircraft industry.
- Experience working in the Quality environment.
- Experience in Product or Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of processes, procedures, methods, non-conformance, root cause analysis.
- Good communication skills and willingness and ability to learn.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German or French would be a plus.
Expected salary: £67 – 30 per hour
