Job description: Safran are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Material Planner to lead our Material Scheduling team. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the material planning activities, ensuring an efficient and seamless manufacturing process.
- Leading and mentor the material planning team
- Coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Implementing strategic plans to improve material availability and reduce stock shortages.
- Providing team leadership and fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitoring market trends to predict potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

- Prior experience in a leadership role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
- Good working knowledge or ERP and MRP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in using material planning software and tools
