Job description: We invite applications for the Reliability Analyst position, based at our Dunlin Road premises (Aberdeen).
The Reliability Analyst’s overall purpose is to assist the Reliability Supervisor in ensuring the upkeep and day to day functioning of the Reliability program. They will use organisational data to influence type certificate holder decision making and improve the visibility of aircraft serviceability and maintenance delay data for benchmarking purposes. This purpose includes assisting with implementing processes, procedures, and software changes used for distributing and displaying Reliability data for Company use.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Data gathering, analysis, and report building for Airworthiness, Maintenance, and Supply requirements related to the Company’s Reliability Program, to include the Maintenance and Reliability Summary (MARS) and Target Reliability report.
- Data gathering and analysis for assistance with operational projects, cost analysis, commercial bids, and other projects as they arise.
- Providing monthly statistical graphs and reports regarding customer delays or events to the management group.
- Providing reports and KPI’s as they relate to the performance of both the Supply and Maintenance Departments, as requested.
- Working with the Reliability Supervisor to maintain processes regarding data collection, analysis, and distribution.
- Ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of any new processes.
- Identifying and recommending corrective actions for procedural problems within data systems.
- Identifying and interpreting negative trends or patterns in data sets and elevating these as necessary.
- Ensuring complete and timely distribution of all monthly and quarterly reliability reports.
Person Specification (minimum education requirements, key skills, and experience)
Experience:
- Previous data analysis experience preferred.
- Previous experience in an aviation organisation preferred.
- Experience in working with different global locations and with different cultures.
- Basic understanding of Statistical Analysis Techniques.
- Must have demonstrated ability to analyse organizational and procedural problems, and the ability to make sound recommendations to resolve issues.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally.
Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced analytical and data management skills to include high proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (formula, V-look up, Index-Match, Pivot Tables).

- Highly motivated with the skills and temperament to function effectively and efficiently in an operational environment.
