Job description: The Recruitment Co is seeking a Skilled Machine Operator to join our client’s food production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and managing a fully automated production line in the food industry. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the automated line, ensuring optimal production output, quality, and safety.

These positions are permanent.

Shift Pattern – 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm – ROTATING WEEKLY

How will you stand out?

  • Demonstrate flexibility in line with Business Requirements
  • Be organised, conscientious and be confident in ability to operate machinery
  • Be able handle a high level of responsibility, remaining calm and focused under pressure
  • Have basic food hygiene trained in-house
  • Have an awareness and understand of all CCP’s for the Line
  • Have a high level of numeracy and literacy – demonstrate accuracy in paperwork and in calculations.
  • Have good Communication skills – working collaboratively with operatives and the Team Leader
  • Have excellent awareness of Health and Safety
  • Have an excellent timekeeping and attendance records

The successful Machine Operator will have previous experience of working in the food manufacturing sector operating machines.
