Outbound Sales Representative- Utilities

Location: Sunderland – Role is office based with potential to work from home after 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – No weekends

37.5 Hours per week

Salary: £10.90 per hour, increasing in April 2024 to £12 in line with the Real Living Wage.

8 months sales experience within a contact centre is essential for this role.

Role Details

You will be working on behalf of our client, who is one of the largest gas and electricity energy suppliers to residential customers and businesses in the UK.

As an Energy Sales advisors you will be providing outbound calls to existing customers and will showcase the newest tariffs available from the client.

You will build a rapport with the customer and use probing questions to find the best product fit for the customer’s needs.

To finish you will close the deal using your excellent selling techniques.

You will be responsible for:

  • Engaging warm leads through inbound and outbound calls.
  • Build rapport with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and upsell additional products.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system.

Requirements

We are looking for new talent to fill our Sales Advisor roles on permanent, full-time contracts based at our office in Sunderland. You will need to be:-

  • Ambitious and driven, with passion for your work and commitments.
  • An excellent communicator with great objection handling and negotiation skills.
  • Love understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions to delight them.
  • Determined to meet or exceed your performance targets.
