Aston Medical School, part of the College of Health and Life Sciences, was established in 2018 and has an expanding programme of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine/health. This new Lecturer post will combine research and teaching duties and will focus on genomics, bioinformatics and data sciences. We are looking for applicants with postdoctoral experience in computational genomics/bioinformatics research, a burning ambition to undertake impactful research and a desire to contribute to innovative teaching programmes. There are excellent opportunities for research in genomic medicine.
