About the Opportunity
As a Human Factors Graduate at Jacobs, you will work as part of multi-discipline teams to ensure the requirements of end users are considered within large, complex, high hazard projects. You could make a real difference across exciting opportunities in sectors including Nuclear, Rail, Aviation and Defence. Our experienced and well-respected Human Factors team undertake a wide variety of projects that cover the full design lifecycle from concept through to operation, working with designers, safety specialists, operators and maintainers. You will develop your skills in many different Human Factor techniques including Human Reliability, Human Error, Task Analysis, Human Machine Interface (HMI) design, Safety Culture as well as directly contributing to the decarbonisation of the UK and International energy industries. The team is friendly and supportive and located across the UK, applications will be considered for Westlakes (Cumbria) offices.
- Be working towards a relevant Degree or Masters level qualification such Human Factors, Ergonomics, Product Design, Psychology or Nuclear Technology.
- A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward.
