About the role

Are you passionate about fundraising and supporting an inspiring programme of artistic events, learning activities and community work?

We’re seeking a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Barbican’s Development department to join a supportive team to help create and deliver exciting partnerships with companies to support the Barbican’s arts, learning and community programmes. The Corporate Partnerships Team fundraises through corporate membership, sponsorship and philanthropic programmes retaining and recruiting a strong and loyal corporate supporter base of exciting companies including Searchlight Pictures, Campari, Vestiaire Collective, Bank of America and Sotheby’s.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will be a main point of contact in the team primarily account managing and delivering our corporate membership programme and supporting on the delivery of larger scale partnerships. Alongside delivery of Corporate Members benefits they will lead on all corporate member events and manage the corporate team’s participation in Development wide events such as exhibition private views. They will provide key administrative support to the Corporate Team producing communications including monthly mailings, presentations and reports, tracking expenditure and raising invoices. Alongside this they will also support on new business research and proposals and manage their own prospect pipeline

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their fundraising experience and contribute to the work of an exciting multi arts venue at a key point of change for the organisation.

The successful candidate will be a strong relationship builder and have the ability to communicate at all levels and to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be supported to gain experience across the full spectrum of Corporate Fundraising activity.
