Research Scientist x 2 at University College Dublin

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist within UCD School of Business.

The successful candidates will work under the direction of Professor John Cotter. Applicants should have a background in Economics, Finance, Financial Economics, Computer Science or related disciplines. Applicants will ideally hold or be near completion of a PhD. 

The scholarship is funded by Science Foundation Ireland. The goal of program is to build financial research capacity with Ireland and compete globally. We provide a rich and vibrant research environment for our researchers. Our Scientific Advisory Board includes: Prof Maureen O’Hara (Cornell), Prof Douglas Breeden (Duke), Prof Michael Brennan (UCLA), Prof Elena Carletti (Bocconi University), Prof John McConnell (Purdue), Prof Matthew Spiegel (Yale) and Prof Josef Zechner (WU Vienna University). 

 Salary Range: €45,000-€70,000 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
