Job description: We have an exciting career opportunity for a Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative to join our Avonmouth Installation team.
The role as a Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative is to conduct the removal of Stairlift products. Load and unload delivery vehicles using the forklift truck. Assist the lead Installation Engineer with the safe and efficient installation of Stairlift products.
Candidates with an experience and background in warehouse work would be desirable, but this is not essential. Our culture of continuous improvement will ensure that you have every opportunity for training and development on new products.
A valid full UK driving licence will is essential.
Ideal candidates will be of smart appearance, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, having the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.
Responsibilities of a Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative:
- Removals of stairlifts
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Working within customer’s homes
- Develop and maintain an appropriate level of technical knowledge of products.
- Responsibility for checking lift specification prior to removal.
- Maintaining suitable records
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Resolving issues to customer satisfaction
- Ensure the safe disposal/storage of removed lifts to the Depot.
- All deliveries are unloaded safely and stored in the correct area of the warehouse.
- Stairlifts are made available for Engineers to load.
- Warehouse and yard are kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
Qualifications:
- DBS
- Non-licensable work with asbestos (desirable)
- Full UK driving license required (essential)
