Salary £22,672 p.a. £10.90 per hour (OT paid at standard rate)
Establishment: Private members club
Location: Henley – on – Thames
hours – 40 hours a week, 5/7 days flexible with time of day

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring our Members receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. You will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and Guests alike, keeping good cleanliness, and health & safety to the front of all you do.

Your responsibilities as a Food & Beverage Assistant

Assist with room set ups, table clearing, food delivery, beverage preparation and delivery.
Train on and build food and beverage knowledge to know and understand the menus and offer food, wine, and beverage suggestions.
Complete all assigned training within timeframes given.
Keep Member and work areas clean with a ‘Clean As You Go’ standard adherence.
Keep work area well stocked at beginning and end of shift.
Support a strong collaborative team environment maintaining friendly positive behaviour with Colleagues and Members.
Be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance of all equipment used and report issues.
Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance, keeping to the uniform standards as given.
Be aware of the need to observe Health and Safety regulations and advise management of any irregularities.
Complete any other reasonable task as requested.
Be confident with good listening skills.
Ensure that all of the above duties are completed within our Customer Service values at all times.
Requirements of a Food & Assistant

You should have exceptional customer service skills, be a clear communicator and be able to demonstrate great teamwork. Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given on the job. The role is very hands on, so a can do, and proactive approach is essential and forms part of our ‘One Team’ ethos.
