Evening Senior Custodian (Part Time) at University of Cambridge

Working as part of a small team within the Facilities group at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, you will liaise with day staff and lead a team of three part-time evening cleaners supporting the main concourse and lecture rooms. Responsibilities include washing chalkboards, vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping tables, rearranging furniture, switching off equipment, securing the main site at the end of the day, and supporting occasional evening seminars and events.

The work hours are 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday (17 hours per week). During this period, the role holder will be required to act as Fire Warden and First Aider for the site.

The hourly rate is equivalent to £12.18 to £13.55 per hour plus an unsocial hour’s allowance.
