Job Description

An opportunity has become available to join the Financial Strategy Business Partnering team, in the role of Senior Finance Business Partner (Strategy).  

The 2 available roles will report to the newly appointed Director of Financial Strategy; one supporting the University’s five academic faculties which deliver the University’s core teaching and research activities, and one supporting the University’s professional services departments which provide the physical, digital and support infrastructure to help the University run effectively.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with stakeholders of differing levels across a wide range of departments, steer effective budget management, contribute to making a difference to student experience and the wider university, utilise skills in modelling and evaluating financial scenarios, input into our equality and diversity offering and support in change management in delivering the university’s strategy.

The ideal candidate;

  • Has extensive experience of stakeholder management
  • Applies a strategic view 
  • Is a strong communicator at all levels
  • Demonstrates team leadership
  • Has experience of supporting change management

These are permanent, full-time posts of 36.25 hours per week.
