2 Sisters Food Group are recruiting for an experienced and diligent Warehouse Manager to join our meals manufacturing operation based in Grimsby.

Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. The site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will be a key part of the site’s middle management team with full responsibility for the warehouse function.
Key duties will include:
- Leading and developing the Warehouse team (4 shifts, all working 4 on/off), you will drive performance to ensure all financial and non-financial KPIs are achieved.
- You will organise the safe receipt, storage, and despatch of warehoused good, proactively promoting a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with legislative, customer, and company standards.
- Attending regular middle-management meetings, you will work closely with your peers, reporting on performance and driving actions to improve technical standards.
- Working closely with your team, providing strong leadership and development opportunities, and ensuring they are motivated and given the tools they need to perform.
- Embedding GMP standards to ensure the team and the site is always ‘audit ready’.
- Ensuring health and safety is central to all work undertaken by the team.
About You
- People-focused leader with experience of managing and developing teams in a warehousing environment.
- Food, Drink, or FMCG manufacturing experience would be ideal but is not essential.
- Demonstrable experience of helping people improve through coaching and mentoring.
- Comfortable representing the team at management meetings and working closely with colleagues across the business to drive performance.
- Strong communication skills, able to work well with, and influence, colleagues at all levels.
- Strong track record in improving Health & Safety – formal qualifications preferred but training towards IOSH can be provided.
