Job description: We are looking to recruit an experienced Budget Finance Manager on behalf of a high profile client based in Scotland.
The opportunity is contract based, with an initial duration of 12 months, providing long term stability and and potential for extension and offering hybrid working for a healthy work-life balance along with an attractive daily rate.
In this role you will be working on one of the client’s major Programmes. You will be responsible for producing and reporting the financial position to the Business and into department Finance Business Partners to support their needs, highlighting issues, risks and opportunities to inform decision making.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- first-class analysis experience, with the ability to design and develop performance metrics
- development and delivery of operational reports to a high standard
- Level 4 qualification with AAT, CCAB or CIMA, or working towards qualification CCAB, CIMA or equivalent and financial experience over an extended period
- Active SC clearance and UK nationality
Experience in central government financial management, financial analysis, and financial planning is desirable and would be a plus.
