The role

The role holder will be a key member of the Bristol Innovations team running the high-profile enterprise hub Engine Shed providing administrative support to the Venue, Operations and Front of House team.

What will you be doing?

This varied role will support varied aspects of Engine Shed operations, including serving customers, co-ordinating bookings and events, staffing reception desks and providing administrative support to the management team. You will organise your own day-to-day work to meet clear objectives providing an effective service to others. Working closely with the Front of House team, the Centre Assistant will undertake a broad range of duties to ensure that service levels are maintained for all visitors and members.

Independence and initiative will be required to react to changing priorities and work circumstances, with scope to make decisions within very clear parameters. 

You should apply if

You have excellent administrative, reception and customer service experience and skills with good IT knowledge and the ability to learn to use new systems.

You have experience in completing tasks requiring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate with a range of people in a confident and personable way, tailoring the approach and style to the individual.

You can plan and prioritise your own work, whilst responding to the priorities and needs of other around you.
