We are excited to be having Band 5 Community Food Development Worker time through NHS FV bank service to work within our dynamic and innovative Public Health Nutrition Team/ Child Healthy Weight Team
You will have a responsibility to support the teams deliver on health Improvement outcomes through the development of a portfolio of needs led inequalities workstreams, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
There is an operational role in delivery of community food and health capacity building programme, facilitating opportunities to enable people to eat well, have a good relationship with food and develop life skills.
There is a role to provide day to day provision of Community Food Development under strategic direction from Health Improvement Specialists.
We would welcome applications from applicants who can demonstrate skills and knowledge in both public health nutrition, and community development approaches.
The successful candidate(s) will ideally be AfN, HCPC or UKPHR registered. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
