Are you seeking a challenging role with an ESG focus within the financial services sector? This is a brand new position so a great opportunity for someone with ESG regulatory (SFDR and TCFD) knowledge to grow and shape the position longer term.
The role will be hired in London or Edinburgh and on an initial 12 month fixed term contract basis.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong understanding of SFDR and TCFD regulatory requirements.
- Experience of helping to implement relevant frameworks (SFDR and TCFD), including knowledge of data and reporting requirements.
- Experience in oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations (and good practice).
- Knowledge of forthcoming SDR requirements.
- Proven track record of process design and broader delivery alongside technical expertise.
- Knowledge of specific regulations, legislation, governance and compliance requirements that impact a role, business area of company as a whole.
Professional Qualifications:
Ideally studying for or already passed one of the following (but not essential):
- CFA certificate in ESG investing
- CISI climate Risk Certificate
- CISI Regulation & Compliance
- Other relevant ESG qualifications
Core Responsibilities:
- Working within the regulatory change process, helping to identify ESG regulatory expectations and completion of impact assessments across the business
- Facilitating the design and implementation of ESG regulatory reports whilst working with other business areas including fund managers, technology colleagues and distribution
- Design and maintenance of relevant policies, procedures frameworks and tools
- Act as a point of contact for fund managers and other business areas for any queries
- Maintaining up to date records
