What you’ll be doing:

As part of a team of Operations Officers you will help coordinate the smooth running of our Airport base which includes liaising with aircraft operators, travel organizers, the airport authority, third-party suppliers, air crew, passengers and relevant authorities to co-ordinate the arrival and departure of our clients’ aircraft at the airport. You will be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers, ensuring a smooth transition through our facility whilst safely delivering ground services to our customers’ aircraft.

Main Duties:

  • Assist the daily operations of the base reporting as a small team directly to the General Manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers and crew visiting the location.
  • Carry out ramp services as required for the operation (this will include services such as toilet service, water service, baggage handling load/offload, GPU, steps) as directed by the customer and supervisor.
  • Liaise with customers and provide information relevant to flight requirements.
  • Assist customers and suppliers with their invoicing queries and pro-actively look to cross check invoices to ensure accurate billing.
  • Work in accordance with security regulations, preparing and performing the screening of passengers and luggage
  • Maintain the VIP lounge area always ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and presentation.

About You:

  • Previous experience within aviation is not essential as comprehensive training will be given.
  • Flexibility at managing schedules
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of VIP customer expectations and anticipation of needs
  • Flexibility of start and finish times within the shift pattern
  • Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Qualifies to hold a full airport ID
  • IT proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, Outlook etc, with the ability to be trained on business-specific systems
  • Valid and clean driving license
  • Safety driven
