Job description
Are you passionate about ensuring smooth operations and compliance within the commercial insurance sector? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Insurance Operations and Compliance Manager managing a vibrant office.
Key responsibilities
Operations management
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Implement and refine business processes and procedures for optimal performance
- Manage workflow to meet service standards for clients and insurers
- Provide management information (MI) to support strategic decision-making
- Managing the Acturis system and being a super user for the group
Compliance management
- Develop and manage compliance monitoring programme to ensure adherence to regulations
- Collaborate with Broker network to meet compliance deadlines and requirements
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and data security protocols
- Handle complaints in accordance with company procedures
Reporting and analysis
- Provide MI to Directors and Accountants on a weekly and monthly basis
- Align MI with business workflow processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Collaborate with different teams on marketing and pathway initiatives
- Work with Accountants on month end MI
Management and leadership
- Manage and mentor team members to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Oversee employee activities, HR policies, and health & safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and skills
- Previous experience in commercial insurance operations and compliance management preferred
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Acturis software or similar systems
- Experience in managing supplier relationships within the insurance sector
