Job description: Sodexo Live! have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Aviation team based at Heathrow, the UK’s biggest airport! In this role you will work closely with the Account Manager to manage the airport lounges, ensuring all activities across recruitment, health and safety, training, performance, contract management, auditing and pass management are completed effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to drive standards and compliance across the airport lounges. The role involves supporting Account Managers in the daily operation of the Lounge operations to drive consistent operational excellence. Supporting effective recruitment, ensuring all compliance checks are carried out and recruitment activity meets demands, this role will also support people management processes and engagement. As part of the leadership team, this role will also involve building client relationships, support and deliver growth initiatives and act as an ambassador for the business. This is a role where no two days will be the same, it’s highly autonomous and very flexible and will require someone adaptable and who can work independently.When you join Sodexo Live! you truly belong, you will have the opportunity to thrive with career and learning opportunities available across the organisation – we can’t wait for you to join us!What you’ll do:Drive consistent operational excellence across all lounge operations.Support the Account managers with effective People management to ensure compliance to Company and Aviation specific policies and processes.Act as a key liaison between Support Functions and Aviation teams to effective management at site of Safe Screening, Time Target, Training and Recruitment.Support in the delivery of profitable growth through new and existing client contracts and relationshipsTo ensure that business deadlines and targets are hit.Act as a Sodexo Ambassador and be part of the Duty Management team as an when required.For a full list of responsibilities please view the attached job descriptionWhat you bring:Essential Proven experience of leading a team within a comparable service environmentGood standard of literacy and numeracyExperienced in using Microsoft Office PackageExperience of effecting change within a high performing teamManage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.Ability to interpret and utilise complex and varied financial and commercial information.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels.Achieve set, standards and operate to performance criteria, for example, health and safety, hygiene.Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.A general understanding of basic employee relations management DesirableIOSH managing safely qualification.CIEH Level 3 qualificationSAP KnowledgeWhat we offer: £45,000pa – £48,000pa + excellent bonus and benefitsWorking with Sodexo Live! is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
