Job description: A private credit fund is looking to appoint a Portfolio Analyst to its team based in Central London.
This role suits someone with around 2-3 years’ experience in accounting/finance. You might be someone who has pursued an accountancy qualification and decided that financial reporting isn’t for you. Ideally, you’ll have a background in financial services; however, this isn’t essential.
The incumbent will cover a segment of the firm’s eclectic portfolio of companies, and responsibilities will include:
- Portfolio monitoring and analysis
- Preparation of valuations
- Portfolio management project work
- Pipeline/dry powder analysis
- ESG tracking and reporting
Our ideal candidate:
- Strong academic background – a relevant degree in finance/investment management would be advantageous but not essential
- Undertaking or recently completed an accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or looking to pursue CFA
- Background in accounting is highly advantageous
- Proven stakeholder management capabilities
Compensation is likely to be around the £55,000 mark, with a performance-based bonus and wider benefits package.
