Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity as a Factory Manager in the AMRC Project Delivery team for someone with a passion for the world of Engineering.
You would play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing and machining operations of the facility, to enable the project teams to deliver research projects on time and to budget. You will have overall responsibility to ensure the facility is providing an efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of project consortiums.
It is essential that you have experience working within a manufacturing environment. The Factory Manager will have in depth project life cycle knowledge and be able to manage people, budgets and continuous improvement projects. We are looking for someone who has experience in training and mentoring staff. The project that uses this facility has a high level of documentation and certification requirements. In this role, you will be accountable for adherence, so an high level of experience in technical and administrative governance is required.
