As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Assembly Operator in our Havant facility.
The successful candidate can expect to:
Be responsible for building high end Aviation seating switches and lighting products for, Qantas, Etihad, Emirates and British Airways Airlines. You will be fully responsible for all the small batch manufacture of all switches and lighting product start to finish. You would be working withing a team of 11 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and Testing of products by following assembly drawing and build specifications.
- Ensure all parts are fully working throughout the assembly of the product and report any manufacturing and or design errors.
- Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally)
- Ensure the quality control is a high level and make suggestions to improve quality and or design.

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a wider team.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Working within a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal.
Desirable Criteria:
- Educated to either GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
- Previous experience of working within another production assembly environment.
- Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards.
- Soldering experience.
- Conform to 6S.
- Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed.
