Job Description

St Catherine’s, the newest and largest mixed undergraduate/graduate college within the University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual to join its Academic Office. Applicants should be flexible and keen to learn.

The post holder will help provide the administrative support required for the successful running of the academic activities of the College, acting as first point of contact for queries, undertaking right to work checks for tutors, gathering and processing information about tuition, and producing financial and statistical reports for use by College Officers and committees throughout the year.

With a keen eye for detail, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide a customer-focused service. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.

The salary is set within the range £25,742 to £27,979 per annum, comprising 35 hours per week (including some hybrid working). In return, we offer a range of benefits including meals without charge whilst on duty, pension scheme, travel season ticket loans and free use of the College gym.
