Accommodation Assistant at University of Sheffield

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Accommodation Office team at the University of Sheffield.

We are looking for a hard-working individual to support the team as an Accommodation Assistant. In this varied and dynamic role you will mainly focus on responding to enquiries regarding accommodation and providing an insight into life in University Accommodation to both current and prospective students.

As a team, we are responsible for circa 6,000 bed spaces across a diverse portfolio of buildings and locations. We work hard to maximise occupancy whilst setting out to exceed our students’ and customers’ expectations adding value to the Sheffield experience.

For this role, you will:

• Have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with students, both current and prospective from across the world.
• Have good problem solving skills.
• Be able to prioritise your workload appropriately.
• Act with tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

You will help to facilitate an efficient service whilst providing the best experience for those who choose to live in University Accommodation. On the job training will be provided.
