About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Group provides services to our Citco Group of Companies and helps business to succeed in client service excellence.

The Accountant is responsible for completing daily tasks for the assigned entities and also for completing all the close activities during monthly, quarterly & yearly book close. This candidate will support one or two entities from US, Canada or Europe and work closely with the local Manager to ensure accurate and on time book close. Broadly, the accounting activities are related to Intercompany recharges, Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet reconciliations, Accrual & prepaid amortization, etc.

Your Role:

• Completing monthly book close activities for the assigned entities
• Preparing & posting JE’s for accrual, prepaid, amortization, etc
• Preparing bank reconciliations & posting necessary bank journals
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations & ensuring compliance with Citco policies
• Creating intercompany invoicing calculations & completing IC settlements
• Identify process improvement areas & build efficiencies in the process
• Completing other ad-hoc requests as required by the controller/manager

About You:

• Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and 3+ years’ experience
• Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with good use and knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge and experience with Oracle EBS an advantage
• Willing to work in UK shifts (1 to 10 pm)

• Strong accounting knowledge and commercial acumen
• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills in your approach to work
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross country/cross cultural teams
• Proactive, team-oriented and results-driven
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
