Does that sound like you?We have a new opportunity for an Accounting and Controlling Professional to join our team in Manchester.At Innomotics, we supply motors and the full range of variable speed drives as well as complete systems to rotating equipment OEMs and end clients in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Steel industries.Reporting to the Innomotics UK CFO, this role will handle the ins and outs of consolidating, analysing, and reporting financial statements. You will be involved in budget planning, financial forecasts, and reporting on the actual-versus-plan scenario.You’ll make an impact by:

  • Supporting in planning and calculating yearly budgets and preparing reports
  • Planning, preparing and consolidating balance sheet and P&L statements and reports, according to relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, local standards, etc.).
  • Consolidating budgets, including top-down and bottom-up plans, and proceeding with revolving midterm plannings, and periodic forecasts during the year.
  • Analysing and evaluating assets and liabilities and tax obligations and recommending measures to optimize tax payments.
  • Performing comparisons Actual vs. Plan, and pursuing effects of agreed measures.
  • Analysing and evaluating cost structures, and builds, maintains and improves the depending cost accounting system.
  • Performing evaluations of assets and liabilities, and managing inventory measures on a regular term.
  • Maintaining operational bank contacts, and contributes in “Finance&Controlling” activities.
  • Cooperating with vendors, clients in reconciling the account status, on an accountable level.
  • Keeping abreast with changes of internal guidelines and external accounting standards, and training Accounting Operations staff respectively.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, math, finance or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (SAP) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive and problem solving mindset
