Are you someone who is passionate about Finance and Accounting?

At Saint Gobain Professional Services we are looking for an Accounting Assistant to work in our Finance Team at East Leake, helping to deliver Financial Administration assistance across our Saint Gobain UK and Ireland brands.

This Accounting Assistant will be a part of our Finance team.

Saint Gobain Professional Services is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands. Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures, and distributes materials and services for the construction and industrial markets. These solutions are found everywhere in our living places and our daily life: in buildings, transportation, infrastructure and in many industrial applications.

This role is full time Monday – Friday. Hybrid working is available after an initial training period. The position is a Temporary contract until May 2024

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for candidates from a range of experience levels however previous experience in finance administration is essential. Other than that, as long as you have a good positive can do attitude and are willing to learn we would like to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring all customer issues are resolved our customers include Saint Gobain brands and employees
  • Make sure all invoices are paid on time and any re-charges are administered promptly
  • Updating system with all details of company cars and vehicles and their drivers
  • Ensuring all maintenance fees, speeding, or parking fines from company vehicles are settled or forwarded on accordingly.
  • Make sure all Saint Gobain brands have the correct details on the system
  • Assisting in implementing new processes and procedures
