Job description: Accounting Coordinator Job in Dallas, TXNew requirement for an Accounting Coordinator job with an architecture and design firm based in Dallas, TX. This opportunity is suited to someone with a few years of experience, looking to join an established team within a medium-sized practice. Offering a salary of up to $70,000 plus occasional remote working opportunities.The practice has a diverse history of delivering architecture and design projects across the USA covering a range of typologies including multifamily, high rise, senior living, single-unit residential, workplace, museum projects, and more. Now looking to hire an experienced accounting coordinator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. Knowledge of finance/accounting within the architecture, construction, or engineering sectors is strongly preferred. This role will see you working closely with the Accounting Manager, as part of the firm’s 100+ team.Role & Responsibilities
- Be a key point of contact between departments and PMs, plus external contacts such as vendors and clients
- Input codes and payables
- Preparation of financial documents and submissions such as 1099 forms
- Audit and input of employee expense reports
- Deposits and invoice management
- Statement generation and payment processing
- Financial modeling/forecasting
- Update accurate records within the financial accounting systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree qualification in accounting, business administration, or similar
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Deltek or VantagePoint
- Experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction sector, preferred but not essential.
