We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join a vibrant team.

The Package
£24,000 to £26,000
Monday to Friday

Job Overview: The Accounts Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our residential lettings portfolio. This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and providing financial support to ensure the smooth operation of our lettings department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process rental payments and ensure timely and accurate recording in the accounting system.
  • Manage landlord and tenant accounts, including issuing statements and handling queries.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly cash flow statements and year-end accounts.
  • Coordinate with the lettings team to ensure charges, fees, and expenses are accurately billed and recorded.
  • Handle deposit registrations and releases in accordance with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
  • Liaise with external parties such as contractors, suppliers, and tax authorities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the lettings team, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably within the property sector.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • AAT qualification or similar is advantageous but not essential.
