Newstaff Recruitment Agency in Northampton is currently looking for an Admin Assistant on behalf of our client based in Northampton.

Admin Assistant in Northampton

Location: Northampton

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (half-hour unpaid break)

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Customer Services Team.
  • Answer phone calls politely and helpfully.
  • Categorize emails from customer queries.
  • Match invoices and documentation.
  • Book hotels for the Senior Management Team.
  • Prepare teas and coffees for meetings.
  • Match paperwork with orders (shoes and Orthotics stock).
  • Perform general day-to-day office duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an office environment.
  • Proficient in English, both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Competency in using a PC, including Word, Excel, and email applications.
  • Punctual, reliable, and hard-working attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Helpful, confident, and with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
