Contract: PermanentDiversity: We are an inclusive employer and value a diverse workforceJob Duties:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our fast-paced adult safeguarding team. We are actively recruiting for an admin support officer to support the adult safeguarding team west based in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead with administration of adult safeguarding cases.You must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised person, who can ensure consistent high levels of administrative support. You will join a friendly, dedicated, and inclusive support team.You will be the first point of contact for all incoming calls into the team from a wide variety of sources with many differing themes, all of which will require the ability to apply sensitivity and confidentiality.You will arrange Safeguarding meetings, and team meetings on a regular basis, with a key part of the role being minute taking at safeguarding meetings online, and occasionally face to face. This part of the role is crucial to satisfy our regulatory requirements and accuracy of reporting and minute taking is vital.You will be expected to utilise shared data on our client records system and provide general administrative duties supporting the Adult Safeguarding team.You will be working in a fast paced, stimulating environment that will draw on and build on your organisational skills.Your previous experience working in a small, collaborative team is essential as together the team will work towards achieving goals and objectives whilst showcasing your ability to prioritise workloads in an evolving environment.You will be leading on duty, managing an active and busy inbox and portal as well as arranging various meetings working closely with colleagues and external partners and individuals within the community.Social work experience is not required however you must be able to demonstrate a background in providing strong administrative support including minute taking experience.
