Job Duties:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our fast-paced Adult Social Care, Hospital Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised person, who can ensure consistent high levels of administrative support. You will join a friendly, dedicated, and inclusive support team.

We are actively recruiting for an Admin Support Officer to support the Hospital Discharge Team based in Barnet Hospital, with administration of supporting people being discharged safely from Hospital.

  • You will be the first point of contact for all incoming calls into the team, from a wide variety of sources with many differing themes, all of which will require the ability to apply sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • You will arrange discharge planning meetings, and team meetings on a regular basis, with a key part of the role managing the daily enquiries and referrals, referring anything outside your knowledge base to the appropriate person to resolve incoming queries effectively.
  • You will be expected to utilise shared data on our client records system and provide general administrative duties supporting the Hospital Discharge Team. Using the full suite of Microsoft products to access and share the data on a daily basis.
  • You will be working in a fast paced stimulating environment that would draw on and build your organisational skills, your ability to prioritise workloads in a relatively fast paced changing environment.
  • Your previous experience working in a small, collaborative team is essential in this role as together with the team, you will work towards achieving the goals and objectives of the service.
  • You will be leading on duty, managing an active and busy inbox and portal as well as arranging various meetings, working closely with colleagues and external partners and individuals within the community.

The successful applicant will be competent in the of use of Microsoft Office, Word & Excel and Outlook.

Able to plan own work over short timescales for routine or familiar tasks and processes and communicate with others and exchange varied information with a range of audiences.
