Job Title: Aftermarket Product Marketing Manager

Salary: £73,500 – £78,000 (depending on experience)

Location : Peterborough

Benefits:

25 days annual leave,

Up to 20% bonus

Car Allowance – £625pcm

Contributory pension scheme – Caterpillar will double the employee’s contribution Up to 10%

Contributory share scheme – Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee’s contribution.

Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Perkins Aftermarket team as an Aftermarket Product Marketing Manager leading services growth through a team of Product Category Managers based in Peterborough, UK. As the Aftermarket Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to grow a portfolio of aftermarket products worth approximately $250m, where you will identify, evaluate, and develop initiatives that aggressively drive sales growth objectives and improve product profitability.

You will “own” the Aftermarket Product range and deliver innovative, creative solutions and marketing plans that deliver customer value and promote the value proposition of Genuine Parts. This high-profile role will provide a great opportunity to demonstrate a proven ability to profitably grow sales through a deep understanding of commercial, aftermarket, sales, and marketing best practices.

What You Will Do:

Maximize business potential through creating, implementing, and managing strategic product initiatives to grow the Perkins Aftermarket.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and managing all aspects of aftermarket key initiatives to ensure departmental goals are met.

Directing staff and functions for developing new markets, new channels, and new lines of business; taking effective measures to control profitable growth including operational cost.

Monitoring market share, revenue, cost and inventory. Monitors and communicates factors which will positively impact profitability.

Directs aftermarket new product introduction strategy and deliverables through management of 4P plans that drive Aftermarket product and services growth.

Strong Collaboration capability with key functions of Supply Chain, Marketing. Pricing and Purchasing groups in order to ensure availability of parts, competitive sourcing pricing and engaging marketing campaigns for the entire Aftermarket Product and Services portfolio.

What Skills You Have:

Delivering Growth: Prior experience of product solution development with proven success delivering growth initiatives that meet customer requirements and needs.

Customer Focus: demonstrated knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions and selling the value of an entire Aftermarket product portfolio.

Service Excellence: highly skilled in customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Consulting: Extensive knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Leadership skills to motivate and inspire a highly capable aftermarket team.

Additional Info :

Travel to customers , suppliers , trade shows or key events will be expected up to 25% of the time
