Automotive Aftersales Advisor needed near Bury St.Edmunds.

Our client is part of a large commercial dealer group with multiple sites across the UK – providing sales and aftersales for their specific market
This is a dual role, week one being a Service Advisor, alternate week being a Service Administrator – swop roles with the other Aftersales Advisor from week to week.
Aftersales Advisor Job Description
The Aftersales Advisor will report to the Depot Manager & will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the Service Reception & Service Administration, working within a strong team environment and delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by way of exceptional communication.
- Maintain utilisation of productive staff to target levels
- Ensure a steady and realistic flow of available work through the workshop.
- Liaise with external and internal customers and ensure work is authorised.
- Support and maintain customer’s service schedules, MOT bookings, and O Licence requirements.
- Audit job cards (work orders) and associated service documentation for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures.
- Ensure Service / Inspection Documentation is completed correctly, and customer defect procedures adhered to.
- Assist in maintaining a daily flow of quality job cards including costing and invoicing.
- Ensure Health & Safety and safe work practices are met at all times
- Check and issue sublet order numbers to specialist / external agents and to arrange / plan such works as required
- Loading and daily checking of R2C to ensure all customer sheets are correct and complete

- Complete relevant documentation including invoices etc.
- Ensure all invoice related queries are dealt with in a timely manner
Aftersales Advisor Successful Candidate
- Knowledge of the automotive industry
- Knowledge of the Kerridge system
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent organisation and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and have a solution-driven approach
- Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail orientated
- Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
What’s on Offer

Salary from £30kpa – £34kpa depending on commercial service advisor, service admin experience.
