Job description: Agriculture Vehicle Sales Specialist role at successful, small agricultural vehicle sales company in Herefordshire – £25,000-£45,000 (uncapped commission)This agricultural vehicle sales company is looking for a Sales Specialist to join their small, close-knit Herefordshire team, ensuring regular turnover of vehicle stock whilst developing their growing market. There will be some existing sales to go off, but the ultimate responsibility of this Sales Specialist will be to grow their customer base by generating new leads, being the main point of contact for all sales enquiries plus will involve representing the company and promoting stock at seasonal events.This Sales Specialist will be responsible for all agricultural vehicle sales at their Herefordshire site. Duties will include:
- Proactively sourcing new sales opportunities
- Actively seeking out prospective customers to grow client base
- Providing quotes and actively following up sales enquiries
- Liaising with clients over phone and email, ensuring excellent customer service
- Attending seasonal shows and events to promote vehicle stock
- Building product knowledge in order to best advise customers, upselling products where possible
This Sales Specialist role requires someone with a commercial mindset, who is proactive and able to use their initiative. Must have first class communication skills in order to build client relationships and secure deals. The role will suit someone who is confident working in an autonomous role and in a small office environment. Due to the nature of the business, having an agricultural / equestrian background would be advantageous but is not essential.£25,000-£45,000 dependent on experience with uncapped commission. Benefits include 22 days’ holiday + long service scheme, access to wellbeing app and free onsite parking. Hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday + 2 Saturdays per month, 9am-1pm.
