The role
Manchester Airport is growing and we are looking for an Airport Marketing Lead to lead the direction and strategy of our aviation marketing programme. Working closely with the broad range of airline partners including Singapore Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Jet2.com you will be responsible for all aspects of physical and digital marketing planning and aviation marketing budgets. You will use your strong communication skills to work alongside wider business partners and stakeholders to align common commercial objectives and deliver campaigns to support the annual business plan.
This is a fast paced and exciting role where you will be able to shape the future and success of the aviation marketing agenda. Initially reporting into the Commercial Director with plans to ultimately report into a Head of Marketing, you will be part of a highly successful commercial team.
Your day to day will never be the same and projects could range from delivering major omnichannel campaigns, to hosting terminal route launch events to managing international B2B conferences.
What will make you successful in the role?
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years experience in planning and executing multi-channel aviation marketing campaigns. You will be energetic, passionate and personable leader who is able to develop long term relationships and respond quickly and positively to change, with strong communication and influencing skills. You will also be commercially focused with a keen eye for detail, and able to demonstrate a mindset that actively seeks out change, innovation and continuous improvement. The flexibility to be able to travel to your dedicated partners and attend ad hoc evening/weekend events where required is also important for this role.
