Job Duties:
- Processing invoices accurately and timely using the designated accounting system
- Ensuring supplier statement reconciliation is conducted regularly and discrepancies are identified and resolved
- Handling a high volume of invoices and payments efficiently
- Investigating and resolving queries related to invoices, payments, and supplier accounts
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all transactions
- Coordinating with internal departments and suppliers to obtain necessary information and resolve issues
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities as required
- Collaborating with colleagues in a shared service centre environment to achieve team goals
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using accounting systems
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in processing invoices and conducting supplier statement reconciliation
- Ability to handle a high volume of invoices and payments
- Excellent problem-solving and query resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications or qualifications in finance or accounting
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid role in Oxfordshire (2 Days in Office)
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Expected salary: £26500 per year
