Job Duties:

  • Processing invoices accurately and timely using the designated accounting system
  • Ensuring supplier statement reconciliation is conducted regularly and discrepancies are identified and resolved
  • Handling a high volume of invoices and payments efficiently
  • Investigating and resolving queries related to invoices, payments, and supplier accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all transactions
  • Coordinating with internal departments and suppliers to obtain necessary information and resolve issues
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities as required
  • Collaborating with colleagues in a shared service centre environment to achieve team goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using accounting systems

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in processing invoices and conducting supplier statement reconciliation
  • Ability to handle a high volume of invoices and payments
  • Excellent problem-solving and query resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications or qualifications in finance or accounting

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid role in Oxfordshire (2 Days in Office)
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

Expected salary: £26500 per year
