The Service:

The IT Service provides operational and transformational IT support required by the Portsmouth City Council (PCC) business units. The Business Support team within the IT Service works closely with the PCC business units to carry out business as usual activities to support the core / critical line of business systems.

The Role:

You will work closely with the business application analysts, providing general support, advice, and guidance to IT colleagues and to system users. You will undertake an apprenticeship – Level 3 IT Solutions Technician, developing skills in being analytical, problem solving, and application lifecycle management covering analysis, design, procurement, build, configuration, support, capacity planning and de-commissioning.
