Job description: Our Client delivers turnkey projects for international customers from the food industry, pharmaceuticals, high-tech production and logistics sectors.

They are specialized in the implementation of complex construction projects on a national and international level for clients such as Amazon, Gazeley and Bericote and implement the projects through our offices in England, Ireland, the USA and since 2018 also in Germany.

At the moment we are looking for someone who would take on a full-time contract.

A bit about you:

Are you a seasoned design professional eager to lead a dynamic team on a high-profile £138m project? We’re seeking a results-driven Senior Design Manager to spearhead design coordination for a groundbreaking venture. The role involves overseeing the entire design spectrum, including Civils, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, IT, and Robotics/MHE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of consultant designers and subcontract parties with design responsibilities.
• Ensure seamless coordination of the entire design process from project inception to client launch.
• Conduct and lead design meetings, fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
• Harness expertise in logistics construction and design management via BIM360.
• Oversee client direct vendors involved in Mechanical, Electrical, IT, and Robotics/MHE.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in design management, ideally in logistics construction.
• Familiarity with BIM360 is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team to success.
• Flexibility to work on-site(Hull) and lead design meetings at least 2 days per week.
• Passion for delivering excellence and driving results.
