ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The Area business intelligence analyst role will be essential to support automation of reporting process, simplification of existing reports, data analysis for variety of markets across Western Europe Area

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Business Intelligence is newly formed stream within Growth Management sub-function with key focus on consolidation of knowledge and insights around pricing and commercial performance. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting, incorporation of insights into business agenda, focusing on improvement of current data utilization, drive automation/ simplification of reporting and processes.

Area Business Intelligence Manager

Core Relationships

Internal – Planning team, Revenue Growth management, Insights team

External – Research agencies

QUALIFYING QUESTIONS FOR APPLICANTS

  • Do you have knowledge of reporting building in Power BI?
  • Are you familiar with MS Excel and complex formulas?
  • Are you familiar with basic Project Management?

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support with processing of data aggregation for key data dashboards (Power BI).
  • Update of existing reporting in Power BI. Improvement and optimization of reports.
  • Data harmonization across markets/ KPIs/ categories/ multiple data sources to ensure the optimal data integration.
  • Mastery in data extraction and cleaning from various sources – Excel Pivot, SPSS, Power BI, tables, etc.
  • Maintain existing dashboards and create new dashboards to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in the developing of data warehouse with information worksheets and documentations.
  • Support with administrative tasks related to research management (Agreements, POs creation, budget control).

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

  • Data analytics, database usage
  • Experience in prioritizing tasks, managing workload
  • Experience managing people/Stakeholder management
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Notably Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Practical skills of Power BI report creation is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management
  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Development etc.)

BENEFICIAL

  • Prior experience with retail audit tools (i.e., Nielsen). This is not required but will be considered a bonus.
