Area to be covered: South East, East Anglia & Midlands (not including DE & NG)

Remuneration: £45,000 – £55,000 negotiable + £8,000 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Civils & Drainage will involve:

• Field sales position, selling a high end manufactured range of civil engineering products such as: access solutions, steel access covers, manhole covers, surface boxes & geosynthetics
• 70% of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants & buying groups such as: Keyline, Civils & Lintels, Scott Parnell, Jewson, NBG, Fortiss etc
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors & groundworkers
• All of your time will be spent managing existing accounts initially
• Inheriting a well-established area turnover over circa £19m
• Want to get into the small – medium housing developer market place

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Civils & Drainage with:

• Must have sold to builders merchants or contractors or house developers
• Ideally from the civils engineering / drainage market sector however open for the right candidate
• Excellent field sales / territory management
• Contacts within contractors / civil background preferred
• Specific knowledge of access covers, slot drainage and surface water drainage is not required, as can be taught
• Technically minded, understanding of civil engineering and building industry routines
• Good energy and motivation
