The Role:
We are now looking to bolster our team with the addition of an Assistant Account Executive to join our fast growing team, with the potential to grow the role into an Account Executive role after that.
We are looking to appoint an individual with a passion for learning about the complex and high-profile issues affecting some of the world’s biggest and most significant brands.

As an Assistant Account Executive, you will be responsible for undertaking account administration critical to all client and team projects, under the guidance of an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. Spotting industry issues and understanding the implications of these is a daily requirement for our clients and we would want any candidate to demonstrate a strong appetite for this alongside an enthusiasm for corporate communications and the media.
You will play an active role in the smooth running of accounts, and you will pride yourself on ideas and smart thinking.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their passion with some initial experience in politics, journalism, communications, or an allied field.
What you’ll do as you move with us:
- Account Administration – High quality, proactive account administration increases account efficiency and supports the delivery of client objectives.
- Media Management – Comprehensive media management to support proactive and reactive aspects of programme delivery.
- Technical PR / Integrated Marketing Skills Development – Competence in foundation PR and integrated marketing skills to support programme delivery.
- Programme Support – Ownership of specific PR programme components as directed by account teams to support campaign delivery.
- Information & Collateral Management – Efficient management of client collateral to ensure that media content is always available, and results are professionally prepared for presenting back to the client.
- Press Office Management – Effective press office administration ensures that all media enquiries are responded to in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Research – Effective research skills to ensure that business pitches, proposals, client events and media opportunities are comprehensively supported and capitalised upon.
- Reporting – Comprehensive, accurate and timely reporting ensures that all client activity is professionally recorded and communicated.
- Digital Media – Expand understanding of the digital media landscape and the role of digital media. Always learning about social media and digital tools and how to utilise them for superior client service.
- Team Contribution – A can-do attitude, flexibility and willingness to contribute are consistently demonstrated.
Experience that contributes to your success:
- A broad interest in news coverage from a wide range of sources
- A keen interest in digital media, the digital landscape, and the role of digital in media
- Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle workloads across high profile client accounts, working to deadline
- Strong research skills, to support a range of projects, and the ability to get to grips with a broad range of technical topics
- Solid written skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with strong attention to detail
- Ability to push the envelope and think outside of the box
- Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups
