As Assistant IT Manager, key responsibilities will be to: –

  • Take charge of helpdesk tickets, ensuring swift resolutions, and collaborate with third parties when needed.
  • Dive into the intricacies of SYSPRO, PRISM-MIS, and OPSYS, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Define, deliver, and implement improvements that will shape the future of business processes.
  • Lead small projects, work closely with the IT Business Systems Manager, and contribute to the development of application roadmaps.
  • Create comprehensive manuals and documentation, ensuring the seamless operational and maintenance of ERP software.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance reporting and streamline system integrations.

The successful candidate will: –

  • Have experience in implementing and/or supporting mid-market ERP and other business systems.
  • Have IT experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • Be proficient in SQL, especially with MS SQL Server, relational databases, and reporting tools.
  • Have strong understanding of business processes across functions such as finance, supply chain, and manufacturing in relation to ERP systems.
