Salary: £40,521 to £56,021 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Accounting (Audit and Assurance) based in the Accounting Department at Nottingham University Business School. The candidate appointed will be expected to engage in teaching audit and assurance along with relevant accounting subjects across the range of programmes offered by the School at all levels. Appointed candidates will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

You will have a PhD (or close to completion) in a relevant subject area, or a degree in a relevant subject area and a professional accounting qualification. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others, internally and externally.

This is a full time (36.25 hours per week), permanent post, however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours.
