We are looking for ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a professional, dynamic, and exciting consultancy firm London. You will be joining an elite team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers working on projects within the residential, commercial and student accommodation sectors.

In this role you will be assisting in all cost and procurement management processes, with a view to successfully complete the APC preparation programme; and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Order of cost estimates and option studies.

Cost plans.

Cost-in-use studies.

Tender documentation and managing the tender process. including designing tender marking schemes

Evaluation and reporting of tenders.

Valuation of completed work and arranging for payments.

Preparation and settlement of final accounts.

Administration of construction contracts.

Preparation of reports to customers.

Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work in a client-facing role.

Strong IT skills.
