Salary: £55,000.00

Do you have the skills and qualifications to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and improvement plans for a diverse portfolio of sites? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Assurance and Community Liaison Advisor for the Home Office Security Guarding Service (SGS) contract.

As an Assurance and Community Liaison Advisor, you will support the Account Manager in the effective delivery of the SGS contract, which covers over 400 locations across the UK, including faith schools and mosques. You will act as the subject matter expert in the provision of holistic protective security, customer experience and standards auditing for the contract. You will also lead on the implementation of a digital risk assessment process and dashboard for centrally controlled, auditable outputs for each location that meet National Protective Security Advice (NPSA) standards. You will be responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with faith schools and mosques and creating conduits for collaborative working across the contract. You will work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders, including Esotec – the Home Office physical security partner, to support the implementation of a risk-based security model.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • PSP qualified and/or security management experience of minimum 10 years
  • Proven capacity for security assurance design, development, and delivery
  • Previous experience in delivering standards auditing and operational readiness exercises.
  • Established expert in team training, change management, development, and mentoring.
  • Demonstrable capability to concept, produce and maintain improvement plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK as required.
